Men's Black Biker Style Leather Jacket

I just received my fourth SR jacket, a red cowhide Hybrid. What can I say? The fit is perfect (I’m 1m95 and 104 kgs, so pretty big) and the XXL wears like a glove. The cowhide is a bit thicker than the lamb, so if you want a slightly heavier, “creaking” experience, go for the cowhide. The smell is great, no sign of the toxic, sometimes rotten smell of a 100 euro ebay knockoff. I have three other SR jackets: a black lambskin Hybrid, a motorcycle Cyclops and a brown cowhide Lynch. Would I buy four over the course of five years if I wasn’t totally satisfied? Believe the hype, it’s real.

Here's my review of Soul Revolver which is pretty long winded so grab a cuppa boys and girls ;) So I really wanted a cool leather biker jacket. But I didn't just want something generic off the highstreet that a hundred other guys were walking around in; I wanted something unique. I looked online and found a really nice looking brown leather biker jacket. Better still, it only cost £160 which as far as leathers go was a pretty good deal... or so I thought. The jacket I received from that website looked nothing like the pictures online and I'm not even sure it was actually real leather. It sure as hell didn't smell like leather so I sent it back, got a refund and the search continued lol. Then I found Soul Revolver and immediately loved the 70s style Hybrid design. The black and red striped colour scheme looked nice but was a bit too much for my taste. The vintage grey and black was perfect for me though. I love the way the design is unique but also subtle which can be worn daily with jeans, a graphic t shirt and trainers - my style completely. So I placed my order and used the 10% off code available in September. I go to the gym regularly so my chest and back are quite a bit larger than my waist so I normally wear XL in jackets. But I thought I'd go for a 2XL based on the sizing chart. A little while later I received an email from SeAnn asking me to confirm some order and sizing details. She recommended I go up to 3XL because my chest is 118 cm. Now size 3XL sounded to me like the jacket would be massive around the waist because a guy with my size chest would normally have a waist just as large. So I was a bit apprehensive but decided to roll with it. Sizing differs between brands anyway. I placed the order on 30 September, then after a few emails back and forth and them making the actual jacket it was delivered by FedEx on 25 October. At first I was a bit worried because it was shipped in a FedEx bag and not a box. I breathed a sigh of relief when I opened the bad and found there was a further plastic bag inside. This then containd a canvas bag inside of that. The canvas bag had the Soul Revolver logo stitched into it and a zipper. The jacket was neatly folded in the zipper bag with some soft paper protecting the leather. The really cool thing is that the bag and the jacket itself both had tags on with my name, order number, jacket style and colour option. Now to the jacket itself, the leather smells amazing and is soft to the touch yet substantial. The size 3XL fits around my shoulders and chest well and is very comfortable. You can tell this quality is a step above the highstreet. Because of the size I need for my chest it does give the lower part of the jacket a casual fit and not close fitted so this is something to be aware of if you hit the weights. If the jacket is worn open with a t shirt underneath it looks cool but it can also be worn with a thin hoody or jumper too. The pictures on the site with the model in have a certain lighting that isn't representative of the colours in real life. The pictures on the site almost have a green hue to the leather which isn't accurate. The pictures of the jacket on the white background are more true to life. The customer service is also really good because most companies would take your money and run instead of checking on sizing before doing anything else. But Soul Revolver seem to understand that a good first time order is best for everyone involved; especially for them as their jackets are made to order. This extra dilligence also benefits the customer with a smooth ride. All in all this is a great jacket and whilst the price tag may be higher than some other sites you ultimately you get what you pay for. And I feel a leather jacket is an investment because it's one of the few items of clothing that will last many years (if not a lifetime) if its well made and cared for. I plan to wear this jacket daily and I'm looking forward to seeing how it breaks in. Got my eye on the Cafe Racer in Winchester brown next. Cheers Soul Revolver.

I got my hybrid jacket last Saturday. The craftsmanship at soul revolver is top class. All the stitching feels super strong, even and very consistent. The jacket fits me perfectly nothing is too long or too short and when I bend down to tie my shoes nothing stretches too much and overall mobility is good. The zipper is a bit stiff to move probably because its metal and its new. The supplied bag is perfect for putting the jacket in a suitcase for travel. Over all this jacket is 10/10 money well spent and I will definitely be getting more jackets from soul revolver.
