the site is full of nice hi-res photographs of the various offerings, detailed descriptions and sizing information. Obviously, these jackets are not cheap. So I initially had several concerns:
- one, ordering a garment online without being able to try it on works well for a sweatshirt, but a custom jacket is something else. What if it didn't fit? What if I chose the wrong size?
- two, it is expensive. Ordering from another country one looses the legal recourse one would have if ordering from within the U.S. if it were a scam, I can live with a $50 loss for a shirt but $500+ is a bit more difficult to swallow.
So I did some research and found plenty of happy customers on various sites which eased my reservations. I sent an email with questions to the company email address and received a response from SeAnn. With her help I worked out the sizing questions and I ordered my coat.
Confirmation email as well as status updates along the way kept me informed of the process and after roughly two weeks I received a shipping email with tracking number.
The coat arrived on time. It is awesome. The pictures on the site are good but they don't do the actual product any justice. The leather is soft, well stitched and the coat fits like a second skin. unlike my leather jackets of the past, it feels broken in from the first moment. when you see and feel your jacket or coat in person, you'll know why it is more expensive than something from say Wilson Leathers.
I am already planning my next purchase. So if you are on the fence about ordering from SoulRevolver, let me say you shouldn't be. So I'm simply gonna say... Believe the hype.
